 | S T R E N G T H S + Control over the elements, though at the moment he's unlearned in his skills. + He's been a fighter all his life, scrapping and in street brawls so he knows how to handle his own but he's no black belt or anything. + People underestimate him constantly and assume from his outside appearance that he isn't very smart, but in all actuality he's just a genius under-achiever. + He's very good with his words and can talk himself out of or into almost any situation. + He's very resourceful, always planning ahead for situations and making sure he's prepared. W E A K N E S S E S + Average human strength and speed, etc, aside from his elemental powers he's just an average person. + He has a very quick tongue that can get him into trouble at times. + He despises most people, even more so the douch-y Abercrombie "bros" that seem to be everywhere in his school. + He has a lot of mental issues and insecurities from when he was a child, some would say he's even slightly crazy at times. + He gets drained by using his powers very quickly. L I K E S + Weed. Ziggy didn't get his name for just any reason, his parents were massive potheads and so he ended up following the same route, Ziggy is usually blazed at all points of the day. + Rap music. Goes with weed and with the constant string of words flooding in his mind constantly it just seemed a natural outlet for him. People think he's crazy at times because when he's bored he'll just freestyle to himself. + Girls. No description needed, he loves females. + Tattoos. If you don't have them, then you probably suck in his opinion. + Alchohol. Not as much as he likes weed, but he pretty much is cool with inebriation of any form. D I S L I K E S + Bros. aka. The Abercrombie, popped-collar, douche-y frat acting guys. + Authority. It's all bullshit and needs to die. + Country music. The worst creation ever made. + Cops. He's had a constant string of trouble with law enforcement. + Church-y people, enough of that. H I S T O R Y Ziggy was screwed from the get-go. Originally when he was born his parents were very much new-Age hippies, thus the marijuana related name he was given came to be. They loved their kid, but they also loved their drugs even more, and as time passed they transitioned into much harder and dangerous drugs. After time they became addicts, junkies, losing nearly everything they had owned in their life in pursuit of their next fix. Ziggy's dad started going in and out of prison, his mother turning to alchohol and pills and anything else she could find, basically rendering her a zombie through much of Ziggy's childhood. Ziggy spent alot of time as a child reading, when his parents would be off on a binge, arguing and screaming at each other as they tore the house and themselves apart, Ziggy would immerse himself in the world of books, taking his mind to a completely different and better place where he wouldn't have to deal with reality. It was there that his affinity for words first took root and continued to grow. Throughout middle school and early high school he began to experiment with various drugs as well, earning himself a bit of a "bad boy" reputation around Midnight Harbour. Ziggy had learned from an eary age that you had to do what you had to survive, and with his parents barely there he'd learned that lesson from a young age, so drug hustling came naturally to him and there was alot of profit to be made. Once he'd reached the age of 16 he began to notice that he had certain abilities that others didn't. It began with water at first, he could manipulate waves in the ocean, adding to or reducing their size, but quickly he began to realize his power extended outside of simply water, but to all of the basic elements. At first it was exhausting for him to even bend a stream of water in any direction, but he began practicing and honing his gifts, spending hours of every day manipulating fire and air, any way he could think of to train his mind, and he was growing stronger. For the last few years he's had a few run-ins with the police, was kicked out of school the year before for fighting and just recently was allowed to return. After a near-death scare with a drug deal gone bad he's decided to ease up on the more criminal aspects of life and just focus on getting his life together so he doesn't repeat the same mistakes that his parents did, though it seemed he was destined to repeat their fate. ___________________________________________ Just check any of Azrael's posts lol.
