 | S T R E N G T H S +CREATIVE. His mind is just so full of adventure and originality and he loves expressing that through creative means. He is resourceful and pretty good at graphics class. Give him a paint brush and a stencil and call him Picasso. +DRIVEN. He has always been strong-willed, but ever since he found out about the death of his mother, he has never been more focused on doing something with his life and not letting her death be in vain. He wanted to make her proud, with a part of him also wanting to avenge her death and fight evil. +BASIC COMBAT SKILLS. He was trained in combat every now and then by his older sister, therefore he had the basics down and could handle himself in a fight based on the training he was given. Fighting a vampire by himself, that is another thing altogether. +PERSUASIVE. He knows ways of bringing people around to seeing things his way. After all, he did convince his adopted mother and sister to let him travel across the world with her, to be in a town which has more evil beings than anywhere else in the world. Enough said. +QUICK STUDY. He really does pick up things fast and learn new things. He is a good listener, and can therefore take all of the information in, analyse it and know what his doing or talking about. W E A K N E S S E S +STRONG WILLED. He sometimes gets his head too far into something that he knows nothing about. He is so eager to go on an adventure that he doesn't consider the consequences of putting himself at risk. It is as a result of this that he may not realize when he should quit trying. +MISCHIEVOUS. Could be seen as a cute and good quality, but it really isn't, because he finds himself getting into trouble because of it. He just cannot help himself, once he wants to know something, or see something, he can't resist but doing that! +HIS GUILT. He feels like he should avenge his mother by fighting vampires, and a lot of the time, this can get the better of him and consume him in a rage because he misses her so much and hates that vampires took her away from him. +EASILY DECIEVED. Chace is so consumed in his vengeance, that he can be manipulated into doing things he might not usually do on a clear mind, but because he is so focused on what happened to his mother, he is mentally blind. +ONLY HUMAN. Although he wants to take part in all of the action and adventure, he is only human with basic combat skills which could probably still get him beat up at school. He is more skilled with swords, as he practices fencing. He isn't a brawler, after all. L I K E S +BOYS. He has known for a few years that he was more interested in the same team. He just loves the way they look, they way they dress and the way they walk. He just connects to them on a different level to girls. +FIGHTING. He wants to be further trained and become involved in the combat side of things and help out, but he knows that no one will let him yet. He has something to look forward to, unless he can sneak out and find some for himself. +AN ADVENTURE. He likes exciting opportunities and doing something different. He has travelled the world, but that still isn't enough for him. Especially now that he knows about the supernatural happenings, he is only more keen to find his footing in all of that. +PIZZA & GELATI. He is half Italian, it is only natural that he wants to love Italian food! And he does, because he chows down on that food as much as possible. +EATING. He just loves eating. He doesn't put on weight and keeps in shame with a workout and practicing fencing in his spare time, but he can't help himself, food is so amazing! D I S L I K E S +VAMPIRES. They are responsible for taking his mother away from him, and he hates them more than anything. He wants to avenge his mother's death and make them pay. +LOSS. It seems like everyone around him leaves him; his biological father, his mother, his adopted father. Who was going to be next? And how much more suffering did he have to go through? +NO INSPIRATION. He is creative minded, so having no inspiration at times can be a real buzz kill and can be quite frustrating. Its usually in cases like this where he can lose his focus. +SPORTS. He has never really been interested in sports. He was more of the guy who drew things or was stuck in the arts room all day, anywhere but outside. He didn't really like getting himself too dirty. +BEING PUT DOWN. He doesn't like being told that he cannot do something, and it actually makes him strive to do better than he originally would just to prove them otherwise because he believes he can do anything he sets his mind to. H I S T O R Y Chace had a very fuzzy childhood. Born in London, he didn't know his parents that well, because they were out of the picture before he was old enough to make a memory. His father couldn't handle the responsibilities of having a child, so he left Chace's mother to fend for herself and without a father for her child. He moved out of the country and continued on with his life, his mother never seeing him again. It was hard for them both, especially since his mother was a vampire slayer and she had to juggle that with raising a child. His mother was born in Venice, Italy, but moved to London when she had a calling for the slayer, which is where she met the father of her child. She had help from her watcher, but it was never enough and she was under the constant struggle of it all. But she was more than anything proud to have her son, he meant everything to her. His mother was a vampire slayer, and she was killed in a battle when Chace was only five years old. Her watcher at that time, knowing what would happen if Chace was put into foster care, decided to take it upon himself to adopt the kid and brought him into their family, moving back to England as he had no further means of staying in Italy, as his slayer had died. Chace now had a new mother and father, and had an older sister, who was ten years older than him. He had a good childhood growing up. Their family was well off, and his father was generally off at work with the watcher's council. It took a while for him to settle in however due to missing his mum as he did possess some memories of it all, but the family were good at helping him to settle in. He never knew what his father did, unlike his older sister, but was soon brought into that scope when he was fourteen, when he discovered some documents that his father had in a drawer in his study, which talked about demons, slayers, vampires and the sort. He was so scared, but was caught by his father, who decided now was the best of all times to just inform him of what all of this was, and what he really did for a living. He also explained to Chace how his mother really died, and that she was a vampire slayer. It was a lot to take in for him, but his father reassured him that everything was going to be okay, and he accepted that. His mother was very nurturing of him, especially since he saw her more as his father was always at work. And his older sister was always there to care for him, for they understood everything he had been through. He grew a newfound hatred for vampires, for being responsible for his mothers death. He now had someone to blame for the passing of his mother. He did think what it would be like if she was still around, he wouldn't have the family he had, and in many ways, he knew she would have wanted him to be looked after and this family could probably do so in a better way than she could due to being a slayer and having him so young, when she was only sixteen. He did read up on vampires constantly, he wanted to learn all about them. He told his father he wanted to be a watcher, and he wanted to fight them, but his father always declined and said wait till he was of age before he made those decisions. However his sister did provide some combat training to him secretly without their parents knowledge because she knew that would calm him down and put him more at ease with everything. In school, he was of creative and academic mind, doing well in his subjects because of the strictness of the family, whilst also striving for him to do well. He knew he would need good marks if he did want to become a watcher one day, so decided to focus on that as a goal. However not long after his sixteenth birthday, there was an attack at the watcher's council, and they were all slaughtered, including his father. This upset him so much, and his wife was distraught with it all. However due to his sister seeing one of the scholar's of the academy at the time, someone Chace looked up to highly because he wanted to be like him when his older, they needed to go to Midnight Harbour to help the slayer as there was no one else. Well, her boyfriend had to go, but his sister wouldn't leave without him so decided to go to. However Chace wasn't going to leave without her because he wanted the adventure. He managed to convince his mother and his sister to let him go with her so that he could experience it all and have a fresh start.
