07/01/13. Janelle O'Hara thought she was just a regular girl, that was, until she found out that she was chosen to have an entirely different destiny than she would have ever expected. She is the prophecy child of the powers that be, chosen to fight against the forces of evil with superhuman abilities given to girls like her into every generation for centuries by ancient shamans. She isn't alone in this battle though, as there are others who are either already in this battle or about to be thrust into the circle of fire right next to her. She moved to Midnight Harbour with hopes of a fresh start, however what she found was anything from one. She quickly realized things weren't as normal as they seemed in this small town, and after a vampire raid of trying to kill students, she not only realized there is great evil in town but also who she can rely on as friends to help her in this adventure. (Holland Roden) and (Max Irons) are the friends who were kidnapped and she had to rescue, where there was no choice but to reveal her secret which lead to the bond of friendship and their lives turning upside down. Phoenix Wolfe is a one of his kind, being one of the only known male slayers to be in existence as a result of a disruption in the slayer line which allowed the opportunity for two slayers to be in existence with each other. He has not yet understood his abilities yet, but will soon find out who he really is. He was attacked by vampires and drowned in a lake, where he was revived by his best friend (Chace Crawford) who had been meeting up with him when the attack occurred. He isn't sure what Phoenix has become involved in, but he is sticking with his friend to the end. (Stephen Amell) is an inexperienced and young watcher who was been thrown into the deep end, being assigned a slayer, who will inevitably have to take on another one too. He knows there is darkness coming to Midnight Harbour, but even he isn't aware of how deadly this new force will be. As a watcher, it is his duty to train and prepare his slayers for what is about to come and look out for them when it arrives, but how will he handle the unforseen and uncontrolled weight that he will now carry when he realizes he has another slayer to prepare as well. And this one isn't going to be as cooperative, either. Midnight Harbour is a town filled with students about to begin their next year at Midnight Harbour High. They are unaware of what is coming around the corner, and are probably safer that way. But when you have two slayers attending the same college, people are bound to become involved in their fight one way or another. And then they need to make the choice of whether they stand beside the slayers and fight, or pretend nothing ever happened and likely die anyway. Vampires are in abundance like never before; they are creating more as an army to destroy whatever creatures get in their way in order to take over this town. But when a coven of sorts of vampires comes to Midnight Harbour, there must be a hidden reason. Maybe this town isn't as quiet and safe as it may have originally seemed; especially upon the realization that there is a hell mouth underneath the city; a dangerous and dark place with many dangerous beings itching to claw their way out. Maybe with a little help, as well. Will the forces of good be able to vanquish such a foe when they clearly have no idea just how wild things are in this town. Because everyone deep down wild at heart. |
