Sitting in the library, she smiled softly as she opened up her history book, but quickly turning to her laptop and typing, specifically on the Midnight Harbour police's website. Oh yes, she had hacked into their database and was now searching for local crimes in the area which resembled vampire bites or anything eww or scary of the sorts. It was illegal, and she really did feel guilty doing it, but she knew greater good was more important than her going to the jail for hacking. But it was just a local police station, right? Nobody would notice, and hey, she was doing good for the community by trying to help investigate all of these things! Though she could imagine it would be pretty lonely in jail, and she would probably be sitting nervously in the corner, on the edge of tears. Actually, now that she thought about that, she probably wasn't in a very different similar situation right now during her school life. She had no friends, and could be seen that she had none as she was sitting in the corner of the library up the short stairs, hiding behind some bookshelves in the 'history of art' section where nobody really went, except her, because she found the books quite interesting in an, "I'm not studying this but still read it anyway" type of way. But she was really sitting here just so that she wasn't getting emotional overloads from the students, or even the librarian who was a bit crazy and had some mood swings at points which confused her. The library was a good place because there was usually no lusting emotions, or vivid ones at that. People were usually calm and content, which made her calm and content too. Especially when she had work to do.
She sighed as she looked to see if anyone was around, before doing the search on cases specific to these weird things. She noticed a few, actually as she begun scrolling she noticed there was a lot. All had similar instances of bite wounds too, and they were disgusting! She almost felt ready to run to the toilet, but was trying to pull herself together. If she could feel the emotions of others, surely she could look at a dead body with blood and guts, right? Apparently, that wasn't the case at all, it seemed! She cringed her face slightly, brushing a hand through her hair, before flicking down, hoping for some less-gory images. She gasped slightly, shutting the laptop down and reverting back to her books. Luckily, she had come into possession of a dusty ol' demonology book which contained things about vampires. It was always interesting to study up on these things, never know when any of this stuff could come into handy. She should really be doing some history homework, but she was already four weeks ahead of the class and already had exam notes ready to go, so she had plenty of time for that tonight. Right now, she wanted to feel useful and be able to help Janelle out in any way possible. She felt so cool, being the research girl to Janelle's brawn. They definitely made a good team in that way! As long as the vampires stayed away from her.
