S T R E N G T H S + its a new ART form ::: Jerry is the artistic type, unlike his friends, football victories and rallies don't fume his life. Jerry loves to draw, to paint, to be creative and use his wild imagination for something of art. We all have ways to deal with our emotions, fighting or music, but Jerry uses the therapeutic act of pencil to paper to deal with things and to allow him to express himself. + making SMART with the words again ::: Out of his group of friends, he would have to be the most academically advanced. He loves literature, some science and is okay at Maths, where the others can guarantee the classic stereotype of the dumb jocks and the clueless cheerleaders. In ways it would make things easier to get along with everyone if his priorities and interests were remotely similar, but reguardless he is always there for them. + my BOYS trip me up ::: It is clear that Jerry doesn't exactly get along with his father, or really any of his family. His mother skipped town and his sister brings 'rebellious teen' to a whole new level. When your loyalties can't lie with family, they lie with friends. Jerry makes his friends a top priority, always being there for Phoenix and even Kyra when need be. He is a good shoulder to cry on, a great person to vent to and someone who can definitely make you laugh when you are down. + apart of the love CLUB ::: He is a popular kid! Being best friends with Phoenix, it pathes a way for him to be seen as being 'in' with the social hierarchy of Midnight Harbor High. Though his interests and beliefs don't always mesh with that of his friends, he doesn't care. He is sociable in that way and a good hearted person where he can get along with most, and doesn't just limit himself to his circle of friends. Being in the art clique, along with the nerds and the creative kids, he doesn't confined himself to just being one of the 'popular guys'. + they'll never OWN me ::: Jerry praises himself on being a strong person. On a day to day basis, he has to deal with a closeted alcoholic of a corporate father, a drama filled school life and not to mention everyone elses problems that he takes on as his own. He is a good person in that way, but is always motivated. He can't make his father proud, but he can make himself something that he wants to be; an artist. He works to show that he is a good friend, and works to make the most out of life. Reguardless of who tries to pull him down. + because I'M doing this ::: Jerry knows who he is, even if he doesn't like it. He knows where his priorities are and what he wants, but most importantly has almost accepted the revelation to who he is aswell. Jerry is gay, and isn't sure if he is proud of it yet but is learning to accept who he is. He didn't choose it, and it works with him in the way that it allows his sensitive and compassionate side to be a primary personality trait. But even if he does fully accept who he is, he knows that his father won't. W E A K N E S S E S + in the OLD DAYS there was enough ::: Who's past doesn't haunt them? Jerry finds it hard to not let the issues of the past not upset the present. His mother went nuts and was locked up in a psychriatic clinic. His father used to beat him up and look down upon him. Understandably with a sensitive nature, letting go of grudges is a hard thing to do. And passed mistakes and followed consequences make it hard for him to want to take risks. + people who watched you GROW UP ::: Jerry's father is a major weakness of him. When the only person you could class as family couldn't be more disappointed in you, and lives off of alcohol and venting anger, it is hard to get close to anyone really. His father rarely shows any signs of pride in Jerry being his son, and Jerry used to try his hardest to make his father proud. But nothing stuck, and Jerry has learnt to live with an absense of a family element in his life. And it kills him. + when i was PUNCHED ::: Jerry is merely human, and events have shown him to be very vulnerable. Broken bones, back injuries and bruises from his father's drunken nights, Jerry is nothing special or in any way stronger then anyone else. But since this supernatural world of vampires has been opened up to him, it makes him very worried that super beings of the night are around, and he has no way of defending himself. Or so he thinks. + except to be ALONE ::: Jerry is gay as previously stated, and like most gay teens in life it is hard for him to even feel open about it. Being unable to show his feelings, to have to hide a major part of his life from everyone, having to deny desires in every possible way. That on top of having a broken family, Jerry has the classic fear of thinking that he will always be alone. But with this new perspective of life from recent events, who knows what the future can hold. + the WICKED kids ::: Jerry believes he has some serious case for forgetting things. He will forget doing things, forget where he put things, forget things that he has drawn in the past. It drives him nuts, especially when he finds it completely unexplainable on how he could forget such things. But the question is; is he really forgetting things? + down to the TENNIS court ::: Why couldn't Jerry please his father? It was little things, Jerry growing up with having his head up in the clouds and fixating on art, but Jerry grew up with a family legacy of sports. His father played football, his brothers and his father, but when Jerry fractured his back when he was drunk at an underage party, he was told he could never play contact sports again. And with that, Jerry drove his father further away, and he is still friends with his past players but does miss football. L I K E S + Art ::: Drawing, painting, sketching, browsing; everything art is an interest for this guy. + Socializing ::: His friends are his priorities, and spending time with them is better then anything for him. + Night-Life ::: Though it is limited to local bands and soda, he will never miss the opportunity to go out at night to have fun. + Individuality ::: Everything about him doesn't conform to his family or friends expectations, and his prides himself in being his own person. + Movies ::: When romance or smooth life stories can't be found in reality, a good flick does the trick. D I S L I K E S + Criticism ::: He gets it enough at home, or from the stuck-up people at school. He hates it, and isn't afraid to argue against it. He might be reserved when it comes to standing up for himself, but he isn't dead afraid of conflict. + Vampires ::: Only a recent realization, but the fact that there are vampires that prey on people makes him both sick and scared at the same time. + Lazy Days ::: He is the king of motivation, therefore doing nothing is out of the question for him. + Bangers ::: Music with meaning and melody is the stuff for him, and he can only deal with small doses of this 'doof doof' modern stuff. + Violence ::: For obvious reasons, he hates violence. Little does he know how much violence his life will be involved in, he currently believes it is out of the question. H I S T O R Y What is a Druid? Some would say witches, some would say demons. Some would say super powerful beings, some would say spirits from hell. But centuries ago, there were a line of Druids that were created by the mother earth, and the magics that radiated from the earth. No one knows who they were, where they came from or what they did. But the ancestral name; Abbas. But from this magical line spawned generations of blood-lined magic. This line of magic holders had the ability to know and do the unimaginable. They were able to make things move without touching them, know the thoughts of others. They could feel how others feel, communicate with the dead and even enter the minds of villagers. They were considered powerful beings because no one knew the extent of there power. All that is known is from artefacts, shadow journals and records from the line themselves. Family archives from as early as the 1500's record predictions from the Druid line. The World Wars, the Salem Witch Trials, the opening of the hell-mouth. The intentions and motives of the Abbas are unknown, but the magic hasn't stopped and found its way from Europe to a coastal town in America. But the name Abbas has depleted, now it is Parkman. The recent being Jericho Parkman, but you can call him Jerry. Jerry was born and raised in the damp little town of Midnight Harbour, a quiet community that has been the home three generations of Parkmans. So the family would know of there genetic lineage of supernatural powers, right? Wrong. Jerry's father is a successful business man for an advertising agency who is anything but pure with an alcohol problem and a laundry list of issues, but definitely does not have any form of special powers. Jerry's mother on the other hand was a mystery. Though he doesn't know much on his mother since his father would tell him nothing, but she was never percieved as normal. Always getting into trouble or involved in problems with others, always getting hurt or in danger. Jerry just thought she had a rebellious streak, which would explain his sister Kaitie, but the reality is harsher then what he could gather. Jerry's mother had come into her abilities, with her ancestors shadow journals stored away. She never told anyone about what she was, but was involved in the war between good and evil; fighting on her own against the forces of darkness. But something happened, her powers were stripped from her which sent her insane. Having had her magics taken away from her, it screwed with her mind to the point that when Jerry was four, she was taken far away to a mental institution. After that, it was just this small broken family that had no idea what was in store for it. An ordinary life of an ordinary boy, huh? Jerry grew up as a quiet kid. He had a good heart and personality, and he always had friends. But behind the scenes of this green-eyed boy was a lot of family drama. For years after, Jerry's father tried to be the best parent for Jerry and his little sister Kaitie, who was two years his junior. But things took its toll out on him, and he himself grew a very questionable state of mind. He became excessively arrogant and unreasonable, grew more angry and impatient. He had a resentment against his children, and posed as no role-model for either since he also became an alcoholic. Jerry never felt close to his father, he was constantly yelled out and put down because Jerry's interests and Jerry's hobbies did not measure up to what his father had expected. His father was classed as high school royalty for being the quarterback for the Midnight Harbour football team, and expected the same for Jerry. And even though Jerry grew to like football after being forced into playing, he was never the player his father was. When it came to dirt bikes and toy cars, Jerry only cared about a sketch pad and flowers. He has always been that different, senstivie and intuitive kid that everyone loved besides his father. Jerry was lucky, because he always had friends. Including his best friend since they were kids, Phoenix. Him and Phoenix had always been close, ever since they were little and setting up a club-house in the backyard storm cellar where they could hang out, play games and tell secrets. And to this day, Jericho still has that cellar where he can hangout with his friends without having to even be near the sorry excuse for a father that would be drinking inside. Things always get worse before they get better, and Jerry wished he would have known that. He was twelve when it first happened. It started with a shove and Jerry fell down a couple of stairs, spraining his wrist. But it got worse, not where it happened all the time but over the passed four years, Jerry had taken a bit of a beating. His father had punched him in the heat of arguments, cut his arm open with a broken beer bottle, smashed Jerry into walls and more to show him how disappointed he was in him. It made Jerry sink deep, and feel cut off from everyone. He has only just started to realize his attraction to - well, guys. Coming to the realization that you are gay is hard enough then to feel so alone, that Jerry never told anyone. Since the treatment of his sister Kaitie from there father was no better, she entered her teens and acted out, doing drugs and sneaking out to the point that she was sent away to bording school. So not having his sister there was hard on him too, and things began to feel like the world was going to end. Jerry started trying to focus on the good things, like his friends. So when underage parties came into the picture, Jerry never said no. It was a sensation of feelings free and to be with his friends and not have to worry, it was a great escape for him. Especially the alcohol and improv dance-floors in his friends' parents' loungeroom. But one night at a party by the docks, the cops raided the party looking for minors and Jerry ran. But due to be intoxicated, he tripped over his own feet and fell off of the dock, smashing his back on the rim of a fishing boat. Jerry had fractured his spine, and even though his chances of walking again were high, his ability to ever play contact sports was impossible. This didn't just hurt him, but his father. Now that the one thing him and his dad had in common was gone, it pushed him further away. Jerry however was reliant on his best friend, Phoenix and saw him like a brother. He came out of the closet to Phoenix, he would stay over most weekends at Phoenix's house. And even though he didn't play football anymore, there friendship never weakened. And even though Jerry knows of the dreams that Phoenix has been having and the weird things that are happening to him, he has remained at his side every step of the way. And hopefully, when the Druid power inside Jerry rises to the surface, Phoenix will do the same. But in the next year, everything will change for Jerry, and we will see how strong this guy really is. ___________________________________________ ...."The number you have called is currently unavaila -". "SCREW YOU TOO!". Nothing felt better then a leg massage on a stressful day, you know, unless it is from some creepy ass demon which spontaneously turns into a minature Womping friggin' Willow! Okay, let's start again. This is Allen Mitchell. He is a ruggedly handsome kind of guy with a thrill for action, an uptown apartment, two sisters and a big secret; he's a witch. Not just any witch, but a Halliwell Witch. This basically means that he has kick-ass powers, joined-custody between nine on a very old book and is a great target for evil. Like they really can't get enough with trying to get his power or get to the rest of his family. Today is a great example for that, let's just call this exhibit A. In order to get access to his families Book Of Shadows, he has to come to the manor which he really doesn't mind doing because hey, he loves his family. Not when some 5''10', leather wearing goth king is standing there waiting patiently until the sign of orbs became present in the room. And when it became clear that a young witchlighter was entering the room, the demon morphed into a green and viney meanie with tenticle-like limbs flicking about. It was then, that things just start to go straight down the drain. Allen isn't much of a complainer, but when you call for help and they don't answer, it just purely SUCKS! Holding on for dear life, Allen clutched the leg of his great great grandma's old piano leg. His fingers were slipping from around it, and since speed dial doesn't always go as plan he dismissed his phone across the floor. Never calling Prue 'ol reliable' ever, ever again. Looking back, the demonic freak swung another vine at his other leg. Double the strength made Allen a very unhappy man. But before it could hit, he came to his senses and let go of his support and blossomed into a cloud of blue and white orbs. Disappearing, the witch appeared right behind the demon at the book of shadows. Gripping onto the cover, he swung it open and read as fast as the guy could. A little bit of warning would have been really, really nice right now but who would have thought that you would get attacked by a demon in the Halliwell Manor. Yeah, right, probably the whole magical community. "Magical weed-killer, magical weed-killer....". The witch said to himself, trying to find something as quick as possible. But - no luck, the demon was already ready to attack. Allen looked up just in time to see a large tentacle lash towards him. Jumping, the witch almost avoided the tentacle as it smashed over the centuries-old podium the Book Of Shadows sat on was smashed across the room but Allen's ankles got in the way. Flipping head-over-ass, the witch hit the ground as he quickly rose to a crouch. Okay, might as well try something. As another lash came his way, he shot down and dodged it as he looked to a case of drawers across the room. Raising a hand, he called for it. "Cabinet, wait - Drawers!". He shook his head but soon the drawers evaporated into orbs and appeared in front of the demon, shooting towards it in a trail of light and smashing over the creature as it fell back. "Wyatt! Chris! Mel! Pen! What the hell, Mom! Someone a little help here!". And with his last request, the demon landed a shot as a vine whipped him in the chest and the witch shot across the room and into the clutter behind him, banging and bashing his way to a stop. Times like this, you needed a Plan B. Or, you know, a whitelighter for a witchlighter. charlie. 18. 5 years. |
